EYC (Episcopal Youth Community)
St. Margaret’s is blessed with a thriving and lively community of tweens and teens and a youth group with a matching spirit and vigor. All 6th – 12th graders of the parish are invited and encouraged to attend. We meet from 5 –7 pm each Sunday night from September to May. A calendar with specific information about current programs and events can be viewed by clicking this link found at the bottom of this page.
EYC starts when a crowd of students gather in St. Margaret’s parish hall for fellowship, fun and food. Members come from city, county and private school systems in the Carrollton area. The event always starts with a meal, provided by parents of the youth and other adults in from the parish, and continues with programs that seek to build relationships – between those gathered, God, the church and our community. The program is lead by a wonderful group of adults who have just the right combination of humor and heart to work with young people.
